Mitchell Gauger (2009-13) was The Summit League Diving Championship MVP as a senior in 2013 and a four-time all-league performer for the Jaguars. He was named among the university's Top 10 Male Students and the Top 100 Award Dinner. In addition, he was an Academic All-Summit League selection his final season and was also awarded the Kelley School of Business Lawrence Magner Human Resources Management Scholarship recipient. He was honored with the IUPUI Athletics Mel Garland Distinguished Student-Athlete Award at the close of his four-year career, given to the program's most decorated male and female student-athletes. Gauger, who earned his degree in business management and later earned his MBA in business from IUK, is the third inductee from the men's swimming and diving program.
