Moore was the Athletic Director for 19 years. He helped spearhead IUPUI's move to the NCAA Division I level and doubled the number of spots IUPUI offered. He oversaw the program's branding from Metro to Jags and their move into the Mid-Continent Conference (now Summit League). He also helped lead basketball games to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.
