MARION, Ind. - The IU Indianapolis men's track team wrapped up its weekend competition on Saturday (Apr. 18) by competing at the Little State Championships, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan. Head coach
Justin Amburgy's squad had entrants in two different events as
Nolan King competed in the steeplechase and five others ran the 1,500m event.
King notched a third-place finish in the 3,000m steeplechase with a personal best time of 9:28.67, taking four seconds off his prior best. It capped a strong weekend for King, who collected a sixth-place finish in the 1,500m event the day prior.
In the 1,500m event,
Isaac Riggs spun a time of 4:12.05 in winning his heat while
Evan Farmer ran a time of 4:13.18.
Zane Schorr clocked a time of 4:13.78 and
Noah Price finished his heat at 4:17.75.
Jackson Tuck rounded out the team's entries with a time of 4:25.84.
The Jaguars will return to action at the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational, hosted by the University of Louisville on Apr. 24-25.
