COLUMBIA, Mo. - The IUPUI men's golf team will face a tall task this week when the Jaguars compete in the two-day, 54-hole Missouri Tiger Invitational presented by COG. The tournament will be played at The Club at Old Hawthorne.

A GOOD CAUSE: The Missouri team will be raising money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society throughout the event, based on the number of birdies the Tigers make. That said, the Mizzou coaching staff wanted to extend the opportunity to all individuals involved with this week's tournament to make a donation to the cause by visiting

QUOTABLE: "Today for me was really all about hitting my irons well. I hit them well yesterday and hit a lot of greens, but I had a few big misses that cost me shots. Today I was able to keep it in play off the tee and attack most pins. I got some putts to fall late in the round, which was nice. Playing today bogey free in the wind is a good feeling," said Bienz after the final round of the Manor Intercollegiate where he finished tied for fourth at 220.Â
FORMAT: The tournament will consist of 54 holes with 36 scheduled for Monday (Apr. 9) and 18 for Tuesday (Apr. 10). Play will begin with a 9:00 a.m. Eastern shotgun start on Monday.Â
THE COURSE:Â The Club at Old Hawthorne annually hosts events for the Mizzou Men's and Women's programs and was the host site of the 2014 NCAA Columbia Regional.
THE FIELD: IUPUI will compete against teams from Central Arkansas, Creighton, Drake, Illinois State, Kansas State, Loyola, Missouri State, Morehead State, North Dakota State, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Seattle, SIUE, South Dakota, South Dakota State, UMKC and host Mizzou this week.Â
