DAYTON, Ohio – After earning a series win over Youngstown State, IUPUI will look to ride the momentum into its weekend series at Wright State.
The Jags (6-16, 2-1 Horizon) are scheduled to play the first game of the series against the Raiders on Friday (March 30) at 4 p.m. and will finish the series with double header on Saturday (March 31) at 1 p.m. The double header will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Elisabeth Beirne's squad took two-of-three games at Youngstown State last weekend after two starts from
Megan Overton that netted Overton her second
Horizon League Pitcher of the Week. Overton threw complete games in both outings and only allowed one run each time she toed the rubber. Overton also finished with 17 strikeouts on the weekend, including a career-high 10 strikeouts in the first game against the Penguins.
Mandy Dallas continues to lead the offense with a .317 batting average and two home runs. Dallas is also second on the team with eight RBI.
Adison Lorsung continues to be the top run producer for the Jaguars with 10 RBI. Led by
Maddie Keeley, who is a perfect 8-for-8 on the season, IUPUI is 22-for-25 in stole base attempts this season.
ALL-TIME SERIES
IUPUI owns the all-time series against Wright State with an 8-7 record over the Raiders, including winning the last two matchups. The last time IUPUI and Wright State met was last season with IUPUI coming away with a 6-1 victory.
SCOUTING WRIGHT STATE
The Raiders are 8-16 on the season and earned a 2-1 series win over Green Bay to begin Horizon League play over last weekend. Wright State's offense has struggled this season with the team only hitting .226 on the year and only has one team hitting over .300. Honnah Susor is leading the Raiders with a .319 batting average and is 18-for-19 in stolen bases.
Just like the Jags, Wright State only has two home runs on the year, both coming from Madison Whitaker, who also leads the team with 14 RBI.
In the circle, Wright State has two players with sub-4.00 ERAs, including its main starter Ashley Sharp. Sharp has started 12 games, throwing eight complete games and appeared in 20 games. Sharp has a 5-10 record in 86.1 innings and has 33 strikeouts on the year. Ally Russell has started 10 games with a 3-5 record and 4.88 ERA. Russel has pitched 43 innings and given up 42 runs.
