INDIANAPOLIS - The IU Indy softball program placed three student-athletes on the Horizon League All-Academic Team, as Callie Dickerson, Molly Kable and Paige McPhearson were recognized for their excellence both in the classroom and on the field.
 
Dickerson, a sophomore social work major, boasts a 3.98 GPA while serving as a key two-way contributor for the Jaguars. She has played in 40 games with 39 starts, hitting .327 with 19 RBI, five doubles, four home runs, and 11 runs scored. In the circle, Dickerson has logged 48.1 innings, recording 21 strikeouts and tossing two complete games.
 
Kable, a senior psychology major with a 3.90 GPA, has been a steady presence in the lineup, starting all 44 games this season. She is batting .321 with 24 runs scored and leads the team with 25 RBI. Kable has added five doubles, one triple and five home runs.
 
McPhearson, a junior biology major carrying a 3.96 GPA, has also started all 44 games for the Jaguars. She leads the team with a .365 batting average, totaling 24 RBI and 30 runs scored. Her offensive production includes five doubles, two triples, and six home runs.
 
The IU Indy softball team will close out the regular season this weekend when they host Northern Kentucky for a three-game series. The Jags and Norse are set for a 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM doubleheader on Friday, May 1 and a 3:00 PM single game on Saturday, May 2.
