Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 ELMHURST, Ill. – For the fourth time in her decorated career, IUPUI senior pitcher Brooke Boetjer has been named the Summit League Pitcher of the Week for her efforts following a midweek doubleheader split against Wright State and a series win against IPFW.
 
Over the week, Boetjer worked 13.2 innings, compiling a 1.02 earned run average (ERA) over the pair of matchups.  Against IPFW, the Fillmore, Indiana-native pitched a five inning, complete game shutout in the second game of a Saturday (April 16) doubleheader.  She surrendered just three hits and a walk while picking up a strikeout to stifle the Mastodons offense.  On Sunday (April 17), Boetjer tossed 3.2 innings of relief, giving up no runs with just one hit and recording three strikeouts.
 
Against Wright State, Boetjer kept her team in contention, which eventually led to a 5-4 victory, as the right-hander went five innings while giving up just five hits and two earned runs.  She walked one batter and struck out four.
 
On the season, Boetjer has a 7-12 record with a 3.29 ERA in 117.0 innings of work, striking out 82 and keeping batters to a .255 average against her.  She holds the all-time record at IUPUI with 21 wins in a season, set last year in what was arguably the strongest showing for the program ever.
 
IUPUI will travel to Brookings, South Dakota this weekend (April 23-24) to take on the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State.
