NORMAL, Ill. - Six members of the IUPUI men's golf team will be in action on Saturday (Mar. 26) as the Jags play the War on I-74 Challenge, hosted by Illinois State at Weirbring Golf Club. IUPUI players will square off with opponents from Bradley and Illinois State in the individually scored event.
IUPUI's group will consist of
Ian Smith,
Jackson Juerling,
Jordan Lenard,
Michael Johnson,
Jay Holderman and
Cameron Smith.
Ian Smith is presently fourth on the team with a 76.25 scoring average in eight rounds, as he helped the Jaguars to a come-from-behind win at the Butler Invitational earlier this week. Smith carded a final round even par 72, helping the Jaguars to post a final round 300 to leapfrog a pair of teams en route to the team's second tournament title of the season. Juerling is sixth on the team with a 77.17 stroke average, which includes a top-10 finish.
Lenard is ninth on the squad at 79.00 in a relatively small sample size, while Johnson is tenth at 80.54. Holderman sits in 11th at 80.56 and Cameron Smith is 12th at 81.30.
