Basketball standout Leroy Nobles was inducted into the IUPUI Hall of Fame in 2022 for his contributions to the Jaguars' program. Nobles, a 6-foot-5 guard, finished his four-year career ranked No. 7 on the basketball program's all-time scoring list with 1,446 points, while also ranking among the program's top-10 in threes made (186), free throws made (354) and free throw attempts (446).
He ranks No. 2 in minutes played in the Jaguars' Division I era, playing nearly 3,500 minutes in 126 games with 90 career starts. For his career, he averaged 11.6 points per contest and shot nearly 40 percent from three-point range.
Collectively, Nobles was part of an incredibly successful run on the hardwood as IUPUI amassed an 86-46 record over his four seasons. The Jaguars won a school record 26 games in 2007-08 and 25 victories in 2009-10, including a postseason appearance.Â
