During Kori Waelbroeck's time at IUPUI, she was voted All-Summit League by the league's coaches twice, named to The Summit League All-Tournament team, named to the Shocker Volleyball Classic All-Tournament team, named to the Horizon League All-League Team, was the first player in program history to be named CoSIDA Academic All-American Second Team, named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District, named to the FGCU Hilton Garden Inn Invitational All-Tournament team, and named to IUPUI Hampton Inn Invitational All-Tournament Team. 

Overall, Waelbroeck finished 6th on IUPUI's all-time kill list with 1,197 career kills and was 5th all-time on IUPUI all-time attempts list with 3,278. She finished as one of the most elite offensive players in The Summit League logging a league fourth-best and team high 389 kills and averaging 3.54 kills per set on a .234 attack percentage in her sophomore season. 

Academically, she was named to the IUPUI Academic Advisor's List both semesters for three years. She also earned a spot on the Summit League Academic Honor Roll as a Distinguished Scholar. She was selected as an Academic All-Summit League honoree and landed on the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence. In her 2017-18 season, she was named to the Horizon League All-Academic team.
