IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame
Aneta Abrahamova, originally from Bratislava, Slovakia, came to Indianapolis, for a chance to play golf at the collegiate level. Because of the choice, Abrahamova is a decorated golfer who left the program better than she found it. During her freshman season, she led the team with a 79.05 scoring average. Then in her sophomore season, she had the second-best single season scoring average in school history at 76.70. She set a new school record, a 54-hole 218, which surpassed the previous record with six strokes. She finished 6th overall at the Saluki Invitational and shot 149 (76-73) while helping her team to the title in a 10-man playoff. In her junior year, she led her team with a 75.9 scoring average, which was second lowest in school history. In her final senior season, she set a school record with a 73.67 stroke average with nine top-10 finishes.
Abrahamova finished her career with two Second Team All-Summit League by league's coaches and voted Horizon League of the Year. She finished with a school record 76.17 career scoring average. She played 106 rounds and had 24 top-10 finishes.
Academically, she was selected to the Summit League Academic Honor Roll, The Summit League's Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence, and awarded the WGCA All-American. She was named to the IUPUI's Academic Advisor's List both semesters all four years. She was also a Top 100 Student.
