The 2009 IUPUI women's soccer team remains the most successful in program history, racking up a school record 17 victories and rolling through The Summit League Tournament to earn the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament berth. The team opened the season 0-2 before rattling off the nation's longest winning streak of 12 straight victories.

That group outscored opponents by a 41-23 margin and registered eight shutouts for the year. In Summit League play, the Jags were even more dominant, outscoring foes by 17-8 margin and shutting out four of nine opponents. That team swept the league's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year awards and head coach Chris Johnson was voted the league's Coach of the Year.
