INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy volleyball program has announced its 2026 schedule, a 29-match slate that features 12 home contests and a challenging non-conference lineup before Horizon League play.
The Jaguars will open the regular season with three matches in Seattle, Washington, beginning with San Diego State on Aug. 28. IU Indy then returns home for the annual Hampton Inn Invitational. The Jags will host Ohio (Sept. 3), Marshall (Sept. 4) and Akron (Sept. 5) in the Jungle. IU Indy will then continue non-conference action with an in-state matchup at Purdue on Sept. 9 before traveling to San Antonio, Texas for the UTSA Tournament Sept. 11-12.
Non-con action continues through mid-September with a home match against Butler (Sept. 16) and the Ball State Tournament against Northwestern (Sept. 18) and Ball State (Sept. 19).
The Horizon League portion of the schedule officially ramps up with a pair of home matches against Robert Morris on Sept. 25-26 before IU Indy hits the road for consecutive contests at Youngstown State on Oct. 2-3 and Robert Morris on Oct. 9-10.
The Jaguars return to Indianapolis to host Wright State on Oct. 16 and 17 before heading north for a Wisconsin road swing at Milwaukee (Oct. 23) and Green Bay (Oct. 24).
IU Indy closes October with a home contest against Northern Kentucky on Oct. 29 before visiting Purdue Fort Wayne on Oct. 31. The Mastodons will make the return trip to Indianapolis on Nov. 3.
The final stretch of the regular season includes home matches against Northern Illinois (Nov. 6) and Cleveland State (Nov. 14), along with a road matchup at Northern Kentucky on Nov. 10.
The 2026 Horizon League Championship is scheduled for Nov. 19-22.
Head Coach
Andrew Kroger enters his fourth season with the Jags after posting an 18-14 record with 11 Horizon League wins, including a Horizon League Tournament win against Milwaukee during the 2025 campaign. The Jags will see several starters return for the 2026 season, including the Horizon League Setter of the Year,
Grace Purichia as well as All-Conference performers
Jillian Tippmann and
Laura Roeder.
