INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indianapolis volleyball program continued its tradition of excellence in the classroom, earning the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 13th consecutive season.
 
The Jaguars were one of 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs recognized by the AVCA after posting a team grade-point average of at least 3.30 during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
The AVCA Team Academic Award honors volleyball programs that maintain high academic standards throughout the academic year. This marks the 13th straight season the Jaguars have earned the distinction. The Jags are tied with the longest active streak in the Horizon League.
 
The 2026 recipients were announced by the AVCA on July 23. The Jags will kick off their 2026 season when they travel to Seattle, Washington to face San Diego State on August 28.
