LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three members of the IU Indianapolis men's track team were in action on Friday (Apr. 24) as the Jaguars kicked off efforts at this weekend's Jim Freeman / Clark Wood Open. The Jags were limited to just three entries in the 800m event, paced by Riley Nixon's season-best time of 1:53.84. 

Behind him, classmate Nick Cook posted a time of 1:55.04 and Jay Pillai closed at 2:05.46. 

Nixon's time was 14th best among 72 entries while Cook's time was 23rd overall. 

The Jaguars will continue efforts on Saturday (Apr. 25), beginning with the 5K in the morning.
