BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The IU Indy softball team will travel to Kentucky to compete in the Hilltopper Spring Fling. The Jags will take on Ball State at 1:30 PM and Western Kentucky at 6:30 PM on Friday, Feb. 27. They will then take on Illinois at 11:00 AM and Ball State at 6:30 PM on Saturday, Feb. 28. They will play Western Kentucky on Sunday, March 1, at 1:30 PM. The Jags will then travel to Lexington, KY, to take on the University of Kentucky on Wednesday, March 4, at 5:00 PM. IU Indy is currently 3-8 overall so far this season.
Ball State is currently 4-4 overall so far this season. They fell in their most recent matchup against Kansas City 1-4. IU Indy and Ball State have gone head-to-head on 13 different occasions. The most recent on Apr. 12, 2022, where the Jags won 8-3 against the Cardinals.
IU Indy and Western Kentucky have faced off seven times. The most recent on Feb. 29, 2020, where the Jags fell 4-12 against the Hilltoppers. Western Kentucky is currently 10-3 so far this season.
