INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy men's tennis team will open the 2026 season when they welcome Eastern Kentucky to the West Indy Racquet Club on Sunday, January 18. The Jags and Colonels are set for a 7:00 PM first serve.
 
Head coach Bren Vasalakis led the Jags to a 10-13 overall record with a 4-4 mark in Horizon League play, earning a Horizon League Tournament appearance. From that squad, senior Eli Mercer and sophomores Konner Gunwall, Pumiphat Sukkho and Jai Dutta return. Gunwall was named Horizon League Doubles Team of the Week during the 2025 season.
 
With the four returners, Coach Vasalakis added three freshman. Cameron Kryscio joins the Jags from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin while Owen Nguyen comes to Indy from British Columbia, Canada. Brandon Pham rounds out the roster as a freshman from Mahtomedi, Minnesota.
