INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced today the student-athletes who will represent the 11 institutions on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the 2025-26 academic year with Eli Mercer and Kaylee Dexter selected to represent IU Indy.
 
Each of the League's member institutions is represented by two student-athletes on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee that will serve as voting members. The League will also be welcoming general members to this group, in an effort to provide opportunity for development to more student-athletes. #OneHL will also be a part of this group to continue the League's Impact & Belonging initiatives.
 
Additionally, SAAC members will serve as Cabinet members in the Horizon League governance structure while two student-athletes will also represent the student-athlete voice and hold one vote on the League Council, alongside all 11 Athletics Directors, one Faculty Athletics Representative and one Senior Woman Administrator.
 
This marks Mercer and Dexter's second year representing the Jags on the Horizon League SAAC. Mercer will also join the Messaging Cabinet while Dexter joins the Resources Cabinet for the 2025-26 academic year.
