JAGUARS CLIMB TO FOURTH-PLACE FINISH AT LADY JAG INVITE

IU Indy posts a final round 321 on Sunday (Apr. 13) to advance one spot

CARMEL, Ind. - The IU Indianapolis women's golf team closed out its regular season on Sunday (Apr. 13), moving up to a fourth-place finish at its own Lady Jaguar Invitational at Plum Creek Golf Club. The Jaguars notched a final round 321, finishing the two-day tournament at 644 (323-321). 

Sophomore Sydni Zebrauskas led the ascension with a final round, 5-over 77, including making birdie on her final hole of the event. Nina Wojtczak shot 7-over 79 and Reagan Sohn posted 10-over 82. 

Yanah Rolston and Cassidy Ayres both recorded rounds of 83 to round out the lineup. Freshman Alexandra Chiew led the team's individual entries with a round of 81 on Sunday while Nerea Lancho finished at 85. 

Rolston finished tied for 17th overall at 160 (77-83) and both Zebrauskas and Ayres finished at 161 each, tied for 20th. 

Collectively, IU Indy finished second overall with 13 birdies, led by Rolston's four. Wojtczak had a team-high 19 pars for the week. 

Butler won the team title at 617, defeating second-place Green Bay by six shots. DePauw's Becky Williams earned medalist honors for the week with an even par 144, claiming winning honors by three shots. 

The Jaguars will head south to participate in the Horizon League Tournament at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., beginning on Saturday (Apr. 19). The three-day, 54-hole event will run through Monday (Apr. 21) with the winning team earning an automatic berth to NCAA Regionals.
