SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The IU Indy softball team is gearing up for a six-game road trip (Feb.14-16) as they travel to Spartanburg, SC for the USC Upstate Tournament. The Jags will take on the USC Upstate Spartans and Canisius University Griffins over a span of three days.

The Jags are coming off a 1-3 weekend from the UCLA Invitational where they took on UCLA, CSUN and Cal State Fullerton. IU Indy came up victorious against CSUN with a 5-3 win but fell short in a doubleheader against UCLA and their final game against Cal State Fullerton.

Freshman
Callie Dickerson led the Jags with a .333 batting average while
Kendal Calvert recorded a .417 on base percentage. On the pitching side freshman
Lily Roush earned her first career win against CSUN with a 3.00 ERA.

IU Indy kicks off the weekend on Friday, Feb. 14 when they face Canisius at 11:00 AM. Following the game, the Jags return to play against USC Upstate at 1:30 PM.

On Saturday, Feb. 15 the Jags will begin play against Canisius University at 11:00 AM. After a small break, IU Indy will return to the field to play USC Upstate at 4:30 PM.

The Jags will kick off the final day Feb. 16 with a game against Canisius University at 10:00 AM. IU Indy will get a short break afterwards before they play USC Upstate at 12:30 PM for the final game of the weekend.
