INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy men's tennis team will begin their spring season this weekend when they host Northern Illinois on Saturday, January 18 at 4:00 PM. The Jags welcome the Huskies at the West Indy Racquet Club.
 
Head Coach Bren Vasalakis' team finished the 2023-24 season with a 9-16 record, including a 3-5 #HLTennis mark. They return top players in Kamil Kozerski, Eli Mercer, Noah Viste, Will Thurin, Steven Paz and Nate Day.
 
Vasalakis welcomed four freshman including Jai Dutta (Coppell, Texas), Konner Gunwall (Victoria, Minn.), Vincent Nauta (Bradenton, Florida) and Pumiphat Sukkho (Thailand).
 
The Jags were picked to finish third in the North Division in the Horizon League conference behind Cleveland State and Youngstown State.
 
IU Indy last faced the Huskies in 2018 when Northern Illinois took the match, 6-1.
