HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The IUPUI women's golf team will compete for a Horizon League title this week as they compete at the Horizon League Championships at Mission Inn Resort in Central Florida.
The Jaguars will be paired with Purdue Fort Wayne for the opening round and begin play at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday (Apr. 20).
Senior
Annaliese Fox continues to lead the squad and is coming off her first collegiate victory to close out the regular season. Fox dialed up a 2-over 146 at the Lady Jaguar Invitational to earn medalist honors, helping IUPUI to a fourth-place finish and later earning Horizon League Player of the Week honors. Both she and senior
Madeleine Pape have both earned Player of the Week honors this spring.
Fox owns a team-best 75.09 stroke average while fellow senior
Shelby Busker sits at 76.00. Pape owns a 77.00 stroke average and junior
Nerea Lancho owns a 78.60 mark. Sophomore

El Campeon was opened in 1917 and then redesigned in 1926, giving it the look and feel of a Scotland-based track. Las Colinas, which translates to 'the hills' in Spanish, was crafted in 1992 and is an island links design with expansive, open fairways and generously sized greens.
THE FIELD: The eight-team field consists of Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Green Bay, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State.
RANKINGS: IUPUI is currently ranked No. 214 in the country with a 55-50-1 mark against other Division I teams this season.
