CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Four members of the IUPUI women's golf team have been named to the 2022-23 WGCA All-American Scholar Team, as announced on Thursday (July 6). In order to be selected, individuals must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and have played 50 percent of the team's rounds during the year.
Shelby Busker,
Nerea Lancho,
Madeleine Pape and
Reagan Sohn were honored, based on their academic and athletic performances. Busker and Lancho were honored for a second straight year while Pape and Sohn were first-time honorees.
Busker has maintained a 3.91 grade point average while majoring in biomedical engineering and Lancho sits at 3.81 while majoring in finance and international studies. Pape holds a 3.97 GPA while majoring in journalism and Sohn completed her first season with a 4.0 GPA as a health sciences major.
Busker was one of two Jaguars to play all 28 rounds this past season while Lancho was third on the team with 27. Pape was fifth on the squad with 23 rounds and Sohn played 16 rounds in her freshman campaign. Lancho was second on the team with a 77.93 scoring average and Pape was third at 78.17. Busker ranked fifth on the squad at 79.50 and Sohn capped her rookie season at 81.38.
