JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The IUPUI softball team's two games scheduled for Saturday (Feb. 11) at the River City Leadoff in Jacksonville, Fla., have been canceled due to inclement weather and will not be made up. Head coach Liz Beirne's team will conclude the three-day event on Sunday (Feb. 12) against Furman at 10:00 a.m.

IUPUI (1-1) opened the season on Friday with a 6-5 win over Syracuse before falling to host North Florida, 8-0. Freshman Alexa Holman earned the win in the opener and Kayla Freiberg went 3-for-4 in her IUPUI debut behind the plate.
