LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The IUPUI men's track and field team was back in action on Friday (Apr. 8), competing at Bellarmine's Jim Vargo Invite at Frazier Stadium. Senior
Eric Hoffman led the way for the Jaguars, placing fifth among a deep field in the 1,500m event on day one of the meet.
Hoffman clocked a time of 3:56.24 on Friday, finishing fifth of 24 entries while freshman
Will Clark was next in line with a personal best time of 4:03.35. Sophomore
Keith Bye notched a time of 4:04.02 and
Wilson Whicker recorded a time of 4:10.34.
Jacob Williams rounded out the group with a time of 4:12.53.
In the 10,000m event,
Justin Amburgy placed fourth overall with a personal best time of 31:53.83 in the Jags' first 10K of the season. Senior
Conor Fagan just missed a personal best in the event as well, spinning a time of 32:45.12.
