SPRINGBORO, Ohio - Rain and snow have wiped out the final round of the Wright State Invitational on Monday (Apr. 18), ultimately ending the tournament after Sunday's 36 holes. With the conclusion, the Jaguars earned a third-place finish at 597 (298-299) among the 13-team field.
Freshman
Sam McWilliams tied for third overall at 3-over 145 (70-75) and sophomore
Brock Aten also collected a top-10 finish at 6-over 148 (75-73). It was McWilliams' second top-10 finish of the year while Aten earned his first career top-10 finish.
Aten, an Ohio-native, finished tied atop the field with eight birdies overall.
The Jaguars will now turn attention to this week's Horizon League Championships to be held at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla.
