GREEN BAY, Wis. – IUPUI softball will close out its regular season with a four-game series at Green Bay over the weekend. The Jags and Phoenix will play doubleheaders on both Friday (May 7) and Saturday (May 8).
All four games of the series will be streamed on ESPN3.

QUICK HITTERS
IUPUI broke a six-game losing streak with a 9-6 win over UIC in the series finale against the Flames.
Jennah Speth picked up a win in the circle and hit a two-run home run for IUPUI. Both
Morgan Gilbert and
Jordan Barnes also added two RBI.
Morgan Gilbert upped her average to .331 on the season after collecting nine hits in the series against UIC. Gilbert went 4-for-4 at the plate in the series opener and finished the weekend with five RBI. Gilbert now leads IUPUI with 46 hits, three triples and 17 stolen bases.
Gilbert is currently riding a 13-game hitting streak, the longest streak for IUPUI this season.
Jordan Barnes is hitting .308 for the Jags and leads the team with a .429 on base percentage.
Jennah Speth leads the team with six home runs and 18 RBI. She is also tied for the team lead with eight doubles and leads the team with 23 walks. Speth collected at least one hit in all four games against UIC.
Speth also leads IUPUI in the circle with a 3.04 ERA and 103 strikeouts in 122 innings.
Lexi Lucas is tied with Speth with six wins on the season. Lucas holds a 3.33 ERA and has issued just 14 walks in 119.2 innings pitched this year.
SCOUTING GREEN BAY
Green Bay comes in to the series with a 21-19 overall record and a 16-16 mark in Horizon League play. The Phoenix dropped three of four games at Purdue Fort Wayne in their last series.
Samantha Saloun leads Green Bay with a .357 average and nine doubles. Tiffany Giese is just behind at .353 for the season and is tied for the team lead with 42 hits.
Morgan Bihun is the top power hitter for the Phoenix with nine home runs and 25 RBI.
Kayla Schwebke leads the pitching staff with 10 wins and has a 3.11 ERA in 108 innings pitched. Brittany Baneck holds the top ERA at 3.01 and is 9-4 on the year.
AGAINST GREEN BAY
IUPUI and Green Bay met for a midweek doubleheader earlier this year, splitting the doubleheader. Green Bay took game one 3-2 before IUPUI earned a 6-4 win in game two.
Maicey Bedrick hit a three-run home run to begin the scoring for the Jags and Barnes added two RBI in the win.
