INDIANAPOLIS – Coming off of two-straight wins, IUPUI softball plays host to Robert Morris over the weekend. The Jaguars and the Colonials will play doubleheaders on both Friday (April 16) and Saturday (April 17).

QUICK HITTERS
IUPUI won the last two games in the series against Purdue Fort Wayne to win the series against the Mastodons 2-1. The last game of the series with Purdue Fort Wayne was cancelled due to rain delays during the day on Sunday (April 11).

Hailey Pop had two home runs against Purdue Fort Wayne hitting a solo shot and a three-run home run during the series.

Lauren Youngblood drove in four runs in two games last weekend and now is a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases after going 3-for-3 over the weekend.

IUPUI has had a strong year on the base paths with 42 stolen bases on the season. Through 29 games this season, IUPUI already has more stolen bases in any season since 2015. Morgan Gilbert's 13 stolen bases are tied for the most in a season since 2015 when Ali Mosier had 25.

Jennah Speth continues to lead IUPUI with 12 RBI and five home runs on the year.

Maicey Bedrick hit her second home run of the season and drove in her 11^th run of the year while collecting three hits against Purdue Fort Wayne. Bedrick's seven doubles are tied for seventh in the Horizon League.

Jordan Barnes has the ninth-highest on-base percentage in the Horizon League at .434.

The Jags have been good at being patient at the plate, having drawn a league-high 93 walks. Jennah Speth leads the league with 15 walks. Rachael Gregory and Hailey Pop are tied for third in the league with 13 walks each.

In the circle, Jennah Speth leads IUPUI with a 3.59 ERA and Lexi Lucas is right behind at 3.71. Lucas leads the Jags with five wins, while Speth has four and earned her first save of the year in the last game against Purdue Fort Wayne.

Speth leads the Jags with 73 strikeouts and Lucas has 46 strikeouts while only allowing 11 walks.

ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS
Robert Morris is 18-12 on the season and 13-9 in the Horizon League in its first season in the league. Robert Morris split a four-game series against UIC over the weekend.

Natalie Higgins is the leader at the plate for RMU with a .446 average, 45 hits, eight home runs and 38 RBI. She is also tied for the team lead with six doubles and one triple.

Two other batters, Erika Bell (.325) and Faith Miller (.306) are both hitting over .300.

Dana Vatakis leads the Colonials with eight wins in 13 starts. Vatakis holds a 3.51 ERA and leads the team with 63 strikeouts in 85.2 innings pitched.
