INDIANAPOLIS - Two former IUPUI women's basketball standouts have been named among the 20th induction class of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and included in the Class of 2022. Julie (Rotramel) Meeks and Kristin (Pritchett) Messmore are among the 10 inductees who will officially be honored on Saturday, Apr. 30, 2022. Rotramel-Meeks was a standout performer and 1984 graduate of Sullivan High School while Pritchett-Messmore starred at Bedford North Lawrence before graduating in 1988.

Rotramel starred at IUPUI from 1987-1991, leading the Metros in scoring in 1990 at 20.0 points per game and followed by averaging a team-high 20.1 points per game in 1991. She helped IUPUI to back-to-back NAIA District 21 titles and an NAIA National Semifinalist finish her senior year. Her 1,809 career points remain No. 2 on the program's all-time scoring list as she held the career scoring record for 30 years. Her 17.2 career points per game are also No. 2 in program history and she owns the single-season record, having totaled 643 points in 1990-91. She owns the second-highest single-game scoring effort in school history, having tallied 42 against Millikin on Nov. 17, 1990. In addition to her scoring feats, she also ranks No. 5 on the program's all-time list in assists (431) and sixth in steals (227). She remains the program's career leader in three-point percentage (40.8 percent) and second in single-season three-point percentage (46.0 percent). She was an honorable mention NAIA All-American in 1991 and was inducted into the IUPUI Hall of Fame in 2001.

Pritchett was a standout at IUPUI from 1988-1992 and still ranks No. 8 on the program's all-time scoring list, having scored 1,382 career points. She led the team in scoring as a freshman in 1989 at 13.0 points per game and led the team in rebounding as both a freshman (7.0 rpg) and senior (7.4 rpg). She remains No. 4 on the program's all-time list in rebounds with 746, No. 5 in steals (230) and is No. 6 in program history with 343 assists. She holds the program's single-game record of field goal percentage in game, having made 11-of-12 attempts against Trinity on Dec. 9, 1988. Pritchett was a two-time All-District 21 honoree and was alongside Rotramel for the 1990 and 1991 NAIA District 21 championship teams. She too helped IUPUI to an NAIA National Semifinalist finish in 1991.
