HUNTINGTON, W. Va.-  The IU Indianapolis women's basketball team will travel to take on Marshall University on Nov. 23 at 5:00 P.M. Going into the matchup, IU Indy is 2-3 overall.
 
IU Indy is coming off of a 58-75 loss against the Evansville University Aces on Nov. 20. Nevaeh Foster led the Jags sinking 16 points with Sydney Bolden close behind with 11. The Aces forced 21 turnovers gaining a 22-21 advantage in points. The Jags finished the game with a 34 shooting percentage. The aces scored twenty-five points in the final quarter, claiming victory.
 
The Herd is coming into the game with 4-2 overall. Most recently, Marshall took on USC and claimed an 85-54 victory. They came out strong having a 29-7 lead in the first quarter, forcing ten turnovers. The Herd had five players who contributed double digit points throughout the game. Senior Timaya Lewis-eutsey led the group with seventeen points, Freshman Olivia Olson followed with fourteen, Senior Meredith Maier with twelve, Senior Peyton Ilderton and Junior Ni'kiah Chesterfield contributed 10 each.
 
The Jaguars and the Herd have gone head-to-head one other time when the Jags won on Nov. 16, 2007. On the most recent matchup, the Jags were powered by a 61.9 shooting percentage in the second half. The Herd outrebounded the Jags in the second half but could not overcome the Jags, falling 60-49.
 
Sunday's game will be aired on ESPN+. Tip-off is set for 4:00 P.M inside the Cam Henderson Center.
