INDIANAPOLIS – The IU Indy Jaguars put together one of their most complete performances of the season on Wednesday afternoon, overpowering Anderson (IN) 94–58 at The Jungle. With five players scoring in double figures and the team forcing 31 turnovers, the Jaguars improved to 3–4 on the year.
IU Indy stormed out of the gates with fast-paced offense and aggressive on-ball pressure.
Nevaeh Foster and
Olivia Smith sparked the opening push as the Jaguars quickly built a double-digit lead. IU Indy scored 14 points in the paint in the period and forced 12 Anderson turnovers to take a 24–9 advantage after 10 minutes.
The Jaguars' defensive pressure intensified, generating 21 points off turnovers in the quarter alone.
Kamara Mills drilled a three that helped ignite an extended run, while
Destini Craig and Foster continued to capitalize in transition. IU Indy outscored the Ravens 26–12 in the frame, stretching the halftime lead to 50–21.
Anderson found its most consistent stretch coming out of halftime, led by strong inside play from Victoria Detraz and Bella Larrison. IU Indy cooled slightly from the field, but steady contributions from Mills and
Jemma Amoore helped the Jaguars maintain control. IU Indy took the quarter 19–15 and entered the fourth with a commanding 69–36 lead.
The Jaguars' depth sealed the win as bench contributors helped carry the offense to 25 fourth-quarter points. Foster finished off a standout performance, and IU Indy continued to convert in the paint and in transition. Anderson put up 22 points in its strongest offensive quarter, but the Jaguars' balanced scoring ensured the margin remained comfortable.
IU Indy saw standout contributions across the roster, led by Foster, who delivered an all-around performance with 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Kamara Mills added efficient scoring off the bench, finishing with 19 points, including three three-pointers, while also pulling down four rebounds.
Destini Craig provided strong two-way play with 12 points, five rebounds, and three steals, helping set the tone defensively.
Jemma Amoore chipped in 11 points and three assists.
IU Indy will next host Purdue Fort Wayne in the Jungle on Wednesday, December 3 as they kick off Horizon League play.
