INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI Athletics Department and head golf coach Jamie Broce announced the signings of two student-athletes for next season. Broce received signed National Letters of Intent from Yanah Rolston (Fortville, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) and Reagan Sohn (Evansville, Ind./Evansville North) to join the Jaguars in the Fall 2022.

"These two young ladies are tremendous additions to our program," Broce said. "They're talented players, great students and really hard workers. We've already got a really strong team in place, but adding these two young ladies makes us that much deeper and talented from top to bottom. I know they're both going to come in and immediately compete for spots in our lineup and that's exciting when you have a collective group that wants to work hard and get better together.

"I think this sets us up really nicely for years to come in terms of depth and talent within the program."

Rolston finished tied for seventh at the IHSAA State Championships at Prairie View this fall, carding a 36-hole 150 (74-76) to lead Hamilton Southeastern. She collected her second career medalist award at the Lapel Regional this fall, carding a winning score of 69 to help HSE to a runner-up finish. She also won the Lapel Regional as a sophomore in 2019 while playing for Heritage Christian High School. She was sectional medalist each of her first two seasons of high school at Heritage and finished 15th at state as a freshman and sophomore. Rolston has been a fixture within the Howard Bailey Junior Golf Tour, winning the 2020 Hoosier Junior Championship at Otter Creek. Dating back to 2011, she's earned 20 tournament victories on the junior golf tour. She's also competed on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, competing in events in Florida and Kentucky during the springs.

Sohn helped her Evansville North squad to a state title this past fall and was an All-State performer as she finished tenth at the IHSAA State Championships. It marked North's third state title in her four seasons to go along with a runner-up finish during her sophomore year in 2019. She was a four-time all-city and a four-time All-Southern Indiana Athletic Conference honoree. Individually, she was regional runner-up as a freshman and finished third as both a sophomore and senior. Her best 18-hole tournament score of her career was a 67 and she earned medalist honors at the 2019 Hoosier Junior Championship at Bowling Green Country Club. She also won the Golfweek Junior Tour event at Bowling Green Country Club in 2019, carding a 36-hole 153 (77-76) to top the field. Sohn serves as treasurer of the National Honor Society and will graduate summa cum laude with a 4.13 grade point average.
