INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI men's tennis will look to continue its hot streak at the beginning of Horizon League play as the Jags look for their third-straight win taking on the UIC Flames on Saturday (April 6) at the West Indy Racquet Club at 10 a.m.

The Jags began Horizon League play last weekend with a 5-2 win over Northern Kentucky and followed it up with a 7-0 sweep over Wright State. IUPUI will be looking for its first 3-0 start in conference play since winning four-straight to begin the conference schedule in 2016.

Freshman Alex Jochim earned his first Horizon League Men's Singles Player of the Week after finishing 3-0 at the No. 1 singles spot. Jochim is now 7-9 on the season and holds the Jags' longest winning streak in singles play.
Eric Hollingsworth is tops on the team with a 12-5 record and is 7-1 at the No. 6 spot. Hollingsworth won both singles matches to begin Horizon League play and has won nine of his last ten singles matches.

The No. 3 doubles spot continues to be a high spot for the Jags as IUPUI is 14-4 overall in that spot. The duo of Ethan Mardanus-Budiono and Sean Bailey are 10-2 in that spot. Bradley Luetschwager and Kyle Whittaker are also a solid 9-2 in the No. 2 doubles spot.
