LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The IUPUI track trio of
Tyler Ettel,
Abiel Mogos and
Paul Salee will head down to Bellarmine University on Friday (Apr. 6) to compete in the 2018 Bellarmine Invitational. The meet was originally slated for Friday and Saturday, but has since been condensed to a one-day meet on Friday. The guys will look to lower some of their personal marks with the Horizon League Championships looming in early May.
Both Ettel and Salee will run the 110 high hurdles to kickoff the action at Owsley B. Frazier Stadium. Ettel ran 15.21 at the Oliver Nikoloff Open last weekend while Salee's personal best was 16.05 last season.
Mogos will follow by running the 1,500m event as he continues to round into peak shape. His personal best time is 4:01.76 in the event.
Salee will continue his day by running both the 100-meter and 200-meter races later in the afternoon. It'll mark Salee's first two outdoor races after he opted to participate in the throwing events at the Nikoloff Open. Salee holds personal best times of 11.44 in the 100 and 23.21 in the 200, both occurring last season.
A full recap and results will be posted to IUPUIJags.com immediately after Friday's events.
