IOWA CITY, Iowa – IUPUI's men's tennis team fell 7-0 to Iowa on Sunday night (Feb. 11). The Jags got a strong performance from freshman
Sean Bailey at the No. 1 singles position.
Despite eventually losing the match, Bailey took his No 1 singles match to three sets, falling 10-8 in the final set. Bailey won the first set in a tie break before losing the second 6-1.
The Jags (2-4) best doubles event came at the No. 2 spot with the team of
Ethan Mardanus-Budiono and
Jac Newis losing 7-5.
IUPUI's next match will be at home on Friday, Feb. 16, when the Jags take on Lipscomb at 1 p.m.
