INDIANAPOLIS – A busy weekend for an already well-traveled team, the IUPUI men's tennis team (6-13, 0-1) will play three meets this weekend (March 31-April 2) beginning with Xavier at home Friday (March 31) before making the brief trip to Butler Saturday (April 1) followed by Notre Dame Sunday (April 2).  The Jags are looking to end what is now a five-meet losing streak, most recently capped off by a Summit League-opening 2-5 loss to Oral Roberts.

This season, the Jags are led by
David Beasley, who has a 10-7 record in singles play.  He's equaled that output in doubles action, also going 10-7 with the best showing for the Jags this season.
Bradley Luetschwager is just behind him at 9-7 in singles, while
Marcus Nalley has posted six wins.  The Jags have a team .426 winning percentage in doubles matches.

The Jags' home meet with Xavier will take place at the West Indy Racquet Club at 3 p.m. EST Friday.  Admission to the event is free.  The Musketeers carry a 4-9 record into the meet, having most recently defeated Georgetown 5-2.  The Saturday meeting with the Bulldogs will feature a very solid Butler team that has compiled a 12-3 record this season.  Riding a six-meet winning streak, the Bulldogs will face the Jags at 4 p.m. in Indianapolis.  The Sunday meeting with Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana will also feature a tough matchup, as the Fighting Irish have gone 10-6 this season, as well as a 2-2 record in the ACC.
