Live ResultsLOUISVILLE, Ky. - The IUPUI men's tennis team will be back in action on Friday morning (Mar. 11) when the Jaguars face Louisville inside the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center. IUPUI (3-14) is seeking a bounce back performance after suffering a 4-3 defeat at UIC last weekend. Louisville (7-7) has been a force at home, going 6-2 overall, but is on the heels of back-to-back ACC losses to Notre Dame and Virginia.
Friday's match is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m..
IUPUI is led by sophomore
David Beasley, who owns a team-high eight singles wins, including six this spring. Beasley has played predominantly at the No. 2 spot in the order, but also has victories at the Nos. 1 and 3 positions. Freshman
Patrick McAuley is second on the squad with four spring wins while
Marcus Nalley,
Akshay Verma and
Kyle Whittaker have three each.
All total, Head Coach
Brandon Currie's squad has nine players with at least one singles victory.
Beasley also has six doubles wins this spring while McAuley, Verma and
Matt Moe have won five times. McAuley and Moe have teamed for a 5-7 record in doubles play while Beasley and Verma are 5-6 on the spring season.
