INDIANAPOLIS – The women's tennis team and Head Coach Marisa Arce have announced the addition of one student-athlete for their 2017 class Tuesday (Nov. 15).  Krystal Grubb has signed her National Letter of Intent (NLI) and will continue her tennis career at IUPUI.

Grubb, a player out of Elkhart, Indiana, competed at Elkhart Memorial High School.  One of the most coveted players out of the state of Indiana, Grubb was ranked as the sixth-best recruit from the Sycamore State by TennisRecruiting.net.  She was named to the Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association 2016 Girls' All-State First-Team in singles play and went undefeated (9-0) against one-star recruits.  Grubb was also the 79th ranked player in the Great Lakes area.

"We are really excited for the addition of Krystal to the Jaguar family," Coach Arce said.  "She comes from a great family, and will bring a great deal of athleticism and spirit to our program."

Grubb will join a roster that is expected to return six players next season, with only one departing senior.
