Box Score CINCINNATI - IU Indianapolis saw its season come to a close Friday afternoon as the Jaguars dropped a 4-2 decision to Cleveland State in the opening round of the Horizon League Tournament.
 
The Vikings secured the doubles point to take the early 1-0 lead, winning at No. 1 and No. 3 before the No. 2 match was halted.
 
IU Indy responded in singles play with a pair of strong performances. Sara Jankovic earned a straight-set victory at No. 3 (6-4, 6-1), while Elle Kotre followed with a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 to pull the Jaguars within striking distance.
 
Cleveland State, however, claimed wins at No. 1, No. 2 and No. 4 singles to clinch the match. The No. 6 match featuring Bella Duncan was left unfinished in the third set.
