NAPLES, Fla. - The IUPUI men's golf team posted a final round 322 to cap off a 14th-place finish at this week's Talis Park Challenge, hosted by Ball State at the par-72 Talis Park Golf Club. 

Vanderbilt shot a 7-over 871 to win the tournament by 19 shots over second-place Wichita State (890). Austin Peay shot 901 and finished third while Florida Gulf Coast (902), Notre Dame (908), Indiana (916) and Ball State (920) made up the top half of the standings. 

IUPUI's final round 322 was it's best of the two-day tournament as the Jaguars closed the event at 982 (326-334-322). 

Jay Holderman led the all sophomore lineup at 22-over 238 (76-83-79) tied for 48th among the 75-player field. Austin Winings shot 247 (85-83-79) and Bryce Very came in at 248 (83-84-81). 

Tyler Davis shot 250 (82-84-84) and Rylan Porter finished at 252 (85-84-83), despite making a team-high seven birdies in the tournament. 

Vandy's Carson Jacobs and APSU's Marco Iten shared medalist honors at 1-under 215. 

IUPUI will return to action on Mar. 24-25 when they compete in the Butler Spring Invitational at Prestwick Country Club in Avon, Ind..
