INDIANAPOLIS - The IUPUI men's golf team will split the roster as the Jaguars are slated to play two touraments later this weekend. IUPUI will compete in both the 54-hole Mission Inn Spring Spectacular on Mar. 15-16 in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., and the 54-hole Talis Park Challenge hosted by Ball State on Mar. 16-17.
The Mission Inn Spectacular, hosted by George Mason, will be played at the par-72, 7,001-yard EL Campeon Course at Mission Inn. The second annual event will include a field of Appalachian State, Bethune Cookman, Florida Atlantic, Florida A&M, High Point, IPFW, Morehead State, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Stetson, Texas Tech, UConn, VCU, Virginia Tech, Western Kentucky and host George Mason. Indiana won last year's event with a score of 869 while Georgia State's Jonathan Grey earned medalist honors at 208.

Cole Adams,
Derek Rohlfing,
Santiago Ruiz,
Rob van de Vin and
Jose Pablo Segurola at Mission Inn, while senior
Seth Robertson is scheduled to play as an individual.
Segurola has earned two Summit League Golfer of the Week awards this spring, including recently carding an even par 142 at the Don Benbow Invitational, placing second at that event. Segurola leads the team with nine rounds of par or better and a 73.05 stroke average while Ruiz enters play at 74.62. van de Vin, the only other Jaguar to have played all 21 rounds this season, has a 75.90 mark and Adams has a 76.71 average in limited playing time. Rohlfing is fourth on the squad with 10 rounds played and has a 78.90 scoring average this season.
The Mission Inn event is slated for two rounds on Saturday (Mar. 15), followed by 18 holes on Sunday (Mar. 16).
At Talis Park, IUPUI will be part of a 14-team field that also includes Austin Peay, Ball State, Cincinnati, Eastern Michigan, Florida Gulf Coast, Indiana, Miami, Northern Illinois, Notre Dame, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Wichita State and Xavier. The tournament is slated for 36 holes of continuous play on Sunday (Mar. 16) and a final round on Monday (Mar. 17). Talis Park is set to play par-72, 7,025 yards this weekend.Â
The Jaguars' lineup for that event will be

Bryce Very and
Austin Winings. Porter is second on the squad with a 74.44 stroke average in nine rounds, including a pair of top-10 finishes.
Winings has played in 19 of the team's 21 rounds and has a 76.53 stroke average and Davis is just behind him at 76.67. Holderman has a 77.0 mark in just four rounds while Very has a 77.6 average in five total rounds.
As a team, IUPUI comes in with a 299.04 scoring average through nine tournaments. The Jaguars have five top five finishes this season, including winning the John Dallio Memorial on Sept. 28-29 during the fall season.
