"I like my team," Head Coach
John Andrews said. "They're fine. They're good. They're rusty, but they're good.
"I'm not discouraged. I can't anticipate this continuing to go on. If we go out and shoot 335 tomorrow, maybe I'm a little concerned, but I really like my team."
Midyear addition
Ana Fernandez de Mesa carded an 83 for the second straight day and senior
Lauren Kuss closed at 84. Senior
Jordan Woods capped the Jaguars' lineup at 87 while sophomore
Olivia Kuss fired a 99 while playing as an individual.
"Ana hasn't made a birdie. Woods hasn't made a birdie and that's two really good players - I mean, really good players," Andrews said.
Kuss is currently tied for 96th among the 172-player field at 162 and Otsuka is tied for 111th at 164. Three players are tied atop the leaderboard at 1-over 145.
"Tomorrow, my goal is to have five girls shoot in the seventies," Andrews said. "It's definitely possible. We've got girls that are capable of it. I don't have a goal in terms of team score or team finish at this point, but I do think we're capable of having five girls shoot really good scores tomorrow."
Tuesday's play is expected to start with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start as the Jaguars will play Oak Point for the final round. IUPUI will be paired with Bucknell and Western Kentucky for the final round with Jaguars going off the eighth, ninth and tenth holes at the start.
