INDIANAPOLIS - Former IUPUI standout Kristi O'Brien led a group of six past, present and future Jaguar golfers at the Pepsi Indiana Women's Open at Hickory Stick Golf Club. The Fort Wayne-native shot a 146 (75-71), finishing five shots behind winner Kristi Cardwell.
O'Brien was 3-under through 14 holes during her final round, but closed with three bogeys in her final four holes to finish with an even par 71.
Rising senior
Jordan Essman tied for 19th at 10-over 152 (75-77) and classmate
Jordan Woods tied for 27th at 157 (77-80).
Fellow senior
Lauren Kuss tied for 57th at 166 (82-84) and incoming Northern Colorado-transfer
Maria Krempp carded a 172 (83-89). Incoming freshman
Lauren Hruskovich rounded out the Jaguars' entries at 184 (96-88).
The field included 100 players in the two-day stroke play competition.
