MARIETTA, Ga. – On Monday,
www.tennisrecruiting.net released its Top 25 Mid-Major Men’s Tennis Recruiting Classes and IUPUI’s three-man incoming class ranked 16th according to the website.
The Jaguars are set to bring in
Jason Jaruvang from Phoenix, Ariz.,
Jacob Hedderig from Cave Creek, Ariz., and
Zack Gharst from Indianapolis, Ind.

Jaruvang comes to Indianapolis as a five-star recruit according to tennisrecruiting.net, and ranks fourth in the state of Arizona and 68th nationally. Jaruvang is one of the highest-ranked players recruited to the program and owns a 27-24 record against four-star, five-star and blue chip players according to the website.
Hedderig makes his way to IUPUI from Cave Creek, Ariz., and is a four-star prospect according to tennisrecruiting.net. He is currently ranked as the 45th-best player in the Southwest and the seventh-best in the state of Arizona.
As a senior, Hedderig led his squad to its third consecutive undefeated regular-season, while finishing as the state runner-up in Division II.
Gharst rounds out the group as the lone local product of the trio and is a three-star prospect according to tennisrecuriting.net. The Indianapolis-native has consistently climbed the charts in terms of recruiting ranking going from 856th nationally in 2009 to 199th as of May 29, 2012.
