INDIANAPOLIS – After spending nearly two weeks away from competition, the IUPUI men’s tennis team returns to action on Friday, March 23, when it meets South Dakota State for a Summit League contest in Fort Wayne, Ind., before taking on in-state foe Indiana in Bloomington, Ind., on Sunday, March 25.
In their last match, the Jags traveled to No. 71 Middle Tennessee State and fell to the Blue Raiders, 7-0, dropping their overall record to 6-12.
However, when the Jaguars meet the Jackrabbits in Fort Wayne, IUPUI will be looking to keep its conference record unblemished after opening Summit League play with wins over Oral Roberts and UMKC in early March.
SDSU comes into the weekend with a 4-9 overall record and Friday’s match against IUPUI will be its first conference match of the season.
No. 21 Indiana will play the Jags to cap off a four-match, five-day stretch in which the Hoosiers will take on No. 52 Purdue, Penn State, and No. 2 Ohio State before taking on the Jags Sunday evening.
The Hoosiers enter the week with an 11-3 overall record.
