INDIANAPOLIS – The IUPUI softball team continues its seven-game homestand on Wednesday, March 14, when it welcomes Morehead State to the IUPUI Softball Complex for a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m.

The Jags are coming off a weekend in which it took one of three games from Western Illinois in its Summit League opening series and IUPUI looks to get back on track on Wednesday against the Eagles before returning to Summit League play this weekend against North Dakota State.

Morehead State comes into the mid-week doubleheader with a 6-10 overall record and also sports a 1-2 record in the OVC.

The Eagles possess a .298 team batting average led by Adrena Anderson, who owns a .426 average and a team-best eight steals. The team's leading run producer, Amber Riddle, is tied for second on the team with a .346 average and has belted four home runs and driven in 15.

In the circle, Morehead State has a team ERA of 4.62 and Jami Whitcomb has received the majority of the Eagles starts this season posting a 3-4 record in eight starts while owning a 3.90 ERA.

Ashley Seering is coming off a big weekend for the Jags leading the team with a .444 average in the three-game series against the Leathernecks.

Kelsey Rupert remains as the team leader in batting average hitting at a .360 clip, while Jenny Royse and Leah Prewitt each have driven in a team-best  10 runs.
