BOONVILLE, Ind. - Four members of the IUPUI women's golf team capped the fall slate on Tuesday (Oct. 30) as the Jaguars played at the Braun Intercollegiate, hosted by University of Evanville at the par-72 Quail Crossing Golf Course. Carolyn Kupchik's 19th place finish among the 72-player field.
Kupchik shot a final round 8-over 80 to finish her tournament at 161 (81-80). Fellow sophomore wasn't far behind, tying for 28th place after carding a 19-over 163 (82-81) over the two days. Sophomore
Lauren Mains came in at 171 (88-83) and freshman
Karisa Stojkovich finished at 212 (113-99).
Northern Iowa's Alex Zenor earned medalist honors after a 4-over 148 (75-73) and helped lead the Panthers to the team title of the 11-team field. UNI finished two shots ahead of Indiana State and six clear of third-place Eastern Kentucky.
