MUNCIE, Ind. - Freshman Jordan Lenard led IUPUI's 10 entries after round one of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, being played at the par-70 Delaware Country Club. Round two of the individual tournament will be completed on Tuesday (Oct. 16) at 9:00 a.m., followed by the third and final round.

Monday's play was delayed at the start due to debris on the course from Sunday's windy conditions.

Once the players hit the course, it was Lenard who paced the Jaguars, shooting an even par 70 for his lowest round of the season. Lenard is currently tied for seventh among the 47-player field.

Two other Jags are also in the top 10 as both sophomore Cole Adams and freshman Jay Holderman shot 2-over 72's. Junior Rob van de Vin is tied for 14th after firing a 3-over 73 and rookie Tyler Davis is tied for 19th at 4-over 74.

IUPUI's two other regulars in the lineup, sophomore Santiago Ruiz and senior Matt Bruce, both shot 77 on Monday.

While there is no team scoring at the E.Y. Invitational, the 47 players represent nine schools from the Midwest. IUPUI leads the way with 10 entries while host Ball State has nine entrants. Other schools represented include Bowling Green, Indiana, Iowa, Notre Dame, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Toledo.

NIU's Nick Huggins leads the way after a 3-under 67 and Joe Cooper (Bowling Green) and Tyler Ostrom (Ball State) both shot 1-under 69.
