FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - Junior Ben Engle carded back-to-back 69's at The McLaughlin on the par-70, 6,759-yard Bethpage Red Course on Friday to put the Jaguars in fifth place. Collectively, IUPUI shot a 282-285=567 (+7) on Friday and is just eight shots off the lead. Princeton posted a 559 (-1) over the first 36 holes and Sacred Heart sits in second at 560.

Engle racked up eight birdies on Friday and is tied for fifth among the 81-player field. The back-to-back 69's were just his third and fourth career sub-70 rounds at IUPUI. Junior Michael Powell is two shots off his pace at 140 (71-69) and tied for 10th overall. 

Senior Ben Moster rebounded from a tough two days at Wolf Run last week by posting a 144 (70-74) and junior Michael Davan notched a 149 (76-73) on Friday. Freshman Jose Pablo Segurola made his collegiate debut with a 150 (72-78). 

Princeton's Chase Lovett-Woodsum leads the field at 134 (69-65) and Villanova's Brendan Kelly is second at 135 (66-69). 

Saturday's play is scheduled to begin with 7:30 a.m. tee times.
