Williams finished the month of December averaging 14.3 points per game and a team-high 7.7 rebounds per game as the Jags went 4-2. Williams also shot .837 from the field and was tied for the team lead with 11 steals. Williams had two games going perfect from the field and only missed more than two shots in one outing.

Williams began the month with a 19 point, nine rebound effort in a win over Ohio, while shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the field. Williams followed that with an 11 point, nine rebound game in an overtime loss to Miami (Ohio).

The freshman continued her strong month going 7-for-9 from the field with 18 points against Georgia Southern. She also pulled down nine rebounds against the Eagles. Her best game offensively came against DePaul when Williams went a perfect 9-for-9 from the field and scored  a career-high 21 points against the Blue Demons. For her effort over those two games, Williams was named Freshman of the Week for the third time by the Horizon League.

Williams ended the month with 13 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the Jags win over UIC to begin conference play.
